Interested in a variety of problems in metaphysics, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of religion and ethics. Teaches courses in all of these areas. Publications include: Platonistic and Disenchanting Theories of Ethics, "Theseus’ Clothes-Pin," "Indeterminate People," "Sources of Essence," and "Some Ontological Arguments." Current work is on various kinds of realism and non-realism in regard to ethics.
