Primary interests are in the philosophy of mind and the philosophy of action. Other interests include American pragmatism and the history of modern philosophy. Affiliated with the Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory. Writings include articles on "Transitive Action, Intervention, and Prevention" and on "Freedom and Desire." Working on studies of issues relating to freedom and pragmatism.
