Primary interest in Greek and Roman philosophy, from the Presocratics through late ancient. Current projects include a book-length attempt to reconstruct an Epicurean theory of the emotions and a new edition (Greek text, English translation, and commentary) of a Herculaneum papyrus by an anonymous Epicurean author.
