Affiliated with the Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory. Executive Director, North American Nietzsche Society. Publications include: Alienation; Hegel and After; Nietzsche; Classical Modern Philosophers: Descartes to Kant; The Future of Alienation; Making Sense of Nietzsche; and Finding an Ending: Reflections on Wagner's RING (with Philip Kitcher).
