Interested primarily in medieval philosophy. Also ancient philosophy, the history and philosophy of logic, logic programming, and applied eithcs (on which he frequently makes presentations to business and professional groups). Publications include articles on "The Sources of Intuitive Cognition in William of Ockham," "The Paradox of the Midwife," Necessity of the Past: What is Ockham's Model?," and two programs in Prolog for use in logic instruction.
